Warriors Star Performer:    Samara Haas assisted in all three goals.

Other Notable Warrior Performances:       Emily Kellow, JoElla Guagliardo and Amanda Imyak scored the goals while Rachel Magnus and Sarah Hehemann had assists.

Who’s Next:   The Warriors play in the Pepsi Showdown Thursday with the time and opponent still to be determined. 

The Bottom Line:      Deerfield fell behind in the fifth minute before tying the score, 1-1, when Haas and Magnus helped Guagliardo knot the contest. After the Wolves took another lead, 2-1, in the 20th minute, Haas found Kellow to even the score in the 29th minute. It took until the 46th minute before Deerfield got the lead as Haas teamed with Hehemann to get the ball to Imyak for the winner.

The Final Score:        Deerfield 7, Lakes 1 

Warriors Star Performer:    Dillon Wallace was the winning pitcher holding the Eagles to a pair of hits while striking out five.

Other Notable Warrior Performances:       Xander Horwitz went 2 – for – 3 at the plate to lead a twelve hit barrage. Nick Korompilas and Danny Farrar handled relief pitching duties. 

Who’s Next:   The Warriors entertain Glenbrook South at 4:45 p.m. today. 

The Bottom Line:      Deerfield is 5-1 for the season.
