Warriors Place 2nd in CSL Swim Meet
Powell and Brottman and Stitcher set records to lead Deerfield High School swim team in league meet.

Who’s Next: The Warriors compete in the Glenbrook South Sectional at 1 p.m. Saturday in Glenview.
The Bottom Line: Brottman set pool records on her way to winning the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.161) and 500 freestyle (5:12.351). Stitcher’s 496.851-point diving performance was good for a pool record and first place medal. Powell took the 100 backstroke (54.21) in pool record time and was also victorious in the 100 freestyle. Powell and Brottman teamed with Rosenberg and Lynn to finish second in the 200 medley relay. Lynn, Powell and Brottman joined Kruzydlo to grab second-place honors in the 400 freestyle relay.

Kruzydlo swam to third in the 500 freestyle, took fourth in the 200 freestyle and teamed with Kreda, Wilson and Frankel for third in the 200 freestyle relay. Lynn took home a third place medal in the 100 freestyle and was fourth in the 50 freestyle. Kreda powered her way to fifth in the 100 butterfly while Wilson did the same in the 100 backstroke.
