DEERFIELD, IL — Many national and regional supermarket chains with grocery stores in Deerfield will be open at least part of Thanksgiving Day to fill the last-minute shopping needs of people who forgot to buy cranberry sauce or ran short of butter.

Store hours may vary by location, so as always, it’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure you don’t waste a trip.

Aldi: All stores are closed.

Costco: All stores will be closed, as they are on all national holidays.

CVS: About 80 percent of stores will be closed.

Walgreens: Most stores will be closed. Walgreens Boots Alliance said "nearly all" 24-hour stores will be open.
