The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook advisory for North Central Illinois, Northwest Illinois and Northwest Indiana at 3:52 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to the report, strong wind gusts up to 40 miles per hour will continue from the south and southwest through the early evening hours.
There is a chance for thunderstorms tonight across northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana, but they are not expected to be severe.
