In Chicago, the celebrations of Eid Milad-un-Nabi have begun in honor of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The American Islamic Society Center Khanqah Sharif Qadri Al-Jilani and the Central Milad Committee of Greater Chicago organized a procession of Eid Milad-un-Nabi in Chicago. Under the direction of Syed Najmuddin Qadri Al-Jilani, the American Islamic Society Center Khanqah Sharif Qadri Al-Jilani and the Central Milad Committee of Greater Chicago organized an annual procession in connection with the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi on September 7, 2025. The event where Mustafa’s followers from around Chicago gathered to celebrate at the intersection of Devon Avenue and Levitt Avenue. The blessed event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Allama Imaduddin Qadri Al-Jilani of the American Islamic Society Community presided over the occasion and welcomed the attendees as they arrived. After this, famous Naat Khawans offered floral tributes at the Shrine of the Prophet.
The organizers of the procession first guided the participants about the route and the regulations of the City of Chicago at the intersection of Devon Avenue and Levitt Avenue. Those participating in the procession were welcomed and given floral tributes. At the appointed time, the Milad-un-Nabi procession started from Devon Avenue in the form of a rally. Beautiful banners depicting Medina and the Kaaba joined the parade. After the rally arrived, scholars, renowned scholars and Naat Khawans marched on foot towards Devon Avenue. Durood and Salam were heard on this occasion.
Many fans of Mustafa participated in the procession. The spiritual leader of Khanqah Sharif Qadriya Jailaniyya, Sheikh Syed Imaduddin Qadri, spoke to the audience and thanked everyone, including the scholars and naat reciters. He claimed that he had taken two halls for the center because he wanted to properly train and guide the youth. When the procession reached Badri Community Hall, it turned into a packed gathering. There, the professors addressed and announced that God had promised His beloved that the memory of my Prophet would always be high.
During this, several naat reciters showed their devotion and presented several verses in honor of Sarwar Kunin to the audience. Other educationists who were part of the procession also expressed their views on the occasion. According to them, not everyone is blessed to celebrate Milad-un-Nabi. The atmosphere was filled with prayers and greetings and slogans during the parade. On the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the participants of the procession were also holding green flags in their hands. Even the shrine of the Prophet was a place of devotion for the famous naat reciters.
Speaking on the occasion, experts said that the commemoration of the arrival of the prophet Muhammad is celebrated in every part of the world. It is a blessing to be among those who celebrate the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Before the end of the procession, prayers were offered for the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The spiritual leader of the Muslim community of Chicago, Najmuddin Qadri, who organized the parade, thanked the Chicago Police officers for their services. At the end of the parade (Jaloos), prayers were also offered for the progress, wealth and success of the Muslim Ummah.
