Des Plaines First Ward Candidates Talk Top Priorities

We asked Des Plaines aldermanic candidates about their backgrounds, qualifications, plans if elected and more in election questionnaires.

Robert Giurato, First Ward Alderman Patricia Haugeberg and Steven Mokry are seeking the post.

Robert Giurato:

Flooding, Metropolitan Square, Infrastructure: All three areas need significant attention to help the lives of the first ward citizens as well as all of Des Plaines.

First Ward Alderman Patricia Haugeberg:

To continue completing the projects scheduled for downtown, bring farmers market to downtown, new business development throughout the city along with flood mitigation.

Steven Mokry:

To listen and represent all of the residents of the First Ward.
