FEMA Assistance Center Opens in Des Plaines
The center will be a resource for northern Cook County residents.
A FEMA assistance center is now open in Des Plaines for Cook County residents, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The center is open at 1486 Miner Street, which is within walking distance for many impacted by the recent floods. It will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m, the newspaper reports.
