IDOT Stops Des Plaines’ Grant Funds

The Illinois Department of Transportation has suspended funding for a traffic safety grant to Des Plaines, pending an investigation into data about DUI arrests that may have been fraudulent, the Daily Herald reported.

Former Commander . Veit retired in April after more than 30 years in law enforcement.
