This year, they started the 2025 Back-to-School Supply Giveaway Program, and Skokie and other Chicagoland communities have already seen a big change.

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, Sahara Home Care held a celebration of moments for kids and their parents to honor solidarity, resiliency, and Sahara's ongoing mission to uplift local families. School supplies were placed in backpacks for the kids. Sahara places to help their children get back to school.

Ms. Aaliya Rana, the Chief Operational Officer, asserts that "Every event so far has had such a great turnout and energy." Seeing children's smiles when they choose their own bags has been very rewarding. It allows us to recall our motivations. She goes on to say that we will be delivering over 5,000 backpacks as part of a 12-back-to-school supply drive throughout Chicago and its surrounds.d.

Families and their children were welcomed to the Skokie location by Sahara staff and volunteers, including President Mr. Armaghan Rana, Fahad Khan Nazima Majeed, and a number of others. They worked really hard to ensure that everything went well and that everyone enjoyed themselves. Parents had an opportunity to learn more about Sahara Home Care's programs while kids chose colorful bags full of essential school supplies, all of which were provided for free.

These initiatives show how committed Sahara Home Care is to offering community support outside of homecare. Along with giving kids resources, Sahara also helps families prepare for the new school year in an effort to foster a love of learning and confidence in the kids.
