Streetscape Project Begins in Des Plaines on Monday

A major project to complete improvements which include sidewalks, curbs, trees and more in downtown Des Plaines was set to begin Monday, the Daily Herald reported. The construction is part of the city's Capital Improvement Plan this year, the Daily Herald reported, and the work is expected to be completed in October.
