Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Pedestrian Under the Influence of Alcohol

Michael D. Neises, 58, of Des Plaines, was charged with two counts of battery, disorderly conduct and pedestrian under the influence of alcohol after police stated Neises spit on a woman’s chest twice, and screamed profanity at her because, according to the report, her dog urinated on a bush on the Neises’ property at 7:07 p.m. on June 15.

A 32-inch Magnavox LCD/DVD television and an eight-pack of Bounty paper towels were reported stolen at K-Mart, 1155 E. Oakton St., between 1 p.m. and 1:01 p.m. on June 18. Police stated three offenders, a white male subject, approximately 25 years old, a Hispanic male subject, approximately 30 years old and a white female subject, between 21 and 25 years old, entered the store, put the paper towels and TV in a shopping cart, and exited the store on the east side, through the garden center. The group put the merchandise into a blue, four-door, 2005 Chrysler, and traveled southbound on Lee St. Property loss was estimated at $344.98.

Criminal Damage to State Supported Land

Police stated windows and sections of a wall on the north side of Chippewa School were vandalized with spray paint sometime between 1:45 a.m. on June 14 and 2:23 a.m. on June 19. Property loss was estimated at $200.
