Win prizes at bank opening in Des Plaines
New bank at Potter and Ballard opens on Thursday
Des Plaines Bank and Trust will open in unincorporated Maine Township on Thursday morning, according to the Daily Herald. The branch will be located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Ballard Road and Potter Road.
The bank is part of the Wintrust Financial Corporation which has 61 branches throughout the greater Chicago area.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, and the open house will continue through Saturday. Visitors can get free lunch coolers, and they can enter to win prizes.

The bank plans on being open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
