3 Charged With Grooming, Child Solicitation After Undercover Sting In Downers Grove
Police say each of the men believed they were meeting a 16-year-old girl for a sexual encounter at a hotel in Downers Grove.

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Three men face multiple felony charges after police say they each traveled to a Downers Grove hotel under the impression they were going to meet with a girl, 16, for a sexual encounter.
Nicholas Flesher, 55, of Schererville, Indiana, Cameron Konter, 24, of Braceville, Illinois, and Devonte Robinson, 28, of Country Club Hills, Illinois, were each charged with grooming, solicitation to meet a child and traveling to meet a minor. The investigation was led by Downers Grove police, with the help of the Carol Stream and Westmont Police Departments and the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group (DUMEG), per a news release from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office (DCSAO).
On June 4, undercover police officers used an adult services website to post a fictitious ad from an 18-year-old woman. Police say Flesher, Konter and Robinson each responded to the ad and unknowingly communicated with undercover officers about meeting up for a paid sexual encounter.
