iPhone Theft at DGS
A mother and her daughter at 10:55 p.m. reported the theft of the daughter's iPhone the day before. The daughter went to swim practice at Downers Grove South High School on the 1400 block of Norfolk. She placed her $500 white iPhone 4S in an unlocked locker in a locker room by the swimming pool at 3:30 p.m. She closed the locker door, but did not lock it, the report said. At 4:15 p.m. she checked to make sure her jacket was still in the locker but did not see if the phone was still there. When she checked again at 4:30 p.m., the phone was gone.
Burglary From Motor Vehicle
A man at about 10 p.m. discovered that someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked for about three hours on the south side of a business on the 1800 block of Butterfield Road. The passenger side front window was broken out and a $100 black leather bag was missing from the front passenger seat, according to the report. Inside the bag was a $600 black Lenovo laptop, a $100 wireless card and a checkbook, also all missing. The computer was the property of the man's employer. He will attempt to obtain the model and serial number when he returned to work.

Missing iPhone, Money Clip
A man discovered that his jacket was missing at about 8:30 p.m. on a basketball court on the 4500 block of Belmont Road. The only item in the coat was the key to his vehicle, so he went out into the parking lot to see if he had dropped the coat or key. The key was located on the ground, just north of where the car was parked. He went in the vehicle and noticed his $299 white iPhone 4S was missing from the center console cup holder. He then drove home and realized his black plastic money clip with $60 and two credit cards was missing.
