Disorderly Conduct at Trader Joe’s

Rohan N. Dobson, 29, of the 600 block of Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove, was arrested around 8:34 p.m. at Trader Joe’s, 122 Ogden Ave., police said.

An employee at Trader Joe’s told police Dobson entered the store Dec. 19 to return high potency vitamins for women, police said. Dobson told the employee there was cyanide inside the pills and to “enjoy her death,” then left the store without a refund, according to reports.

Dobson returned Dec. 21, demanding a refund, police said. After observing him sticking his middle finger in the air and staring blatantly in the aisles, the employee called police, according to reports.

When officers questioned Dobson, they found two warrants under his name—one from DuPage County for failure to appear on a retail theft charge, and the other from Chicago for failure to appear on a criminal trespass charge, police said.

Dobson was arrested on the two warrants, and for obstructing identification, police said.

The Trader Joe’s employee did not wish to sign complaints, but asked the Dobson be trespassed from the store, according to reports.
