Celebrate Little Friends Serendipity Resale Shop’s 50th anniversary! On October 4, 1971, a Resale Shop was opened with proceeds benefiting the programs of Little Friends-Sheltered Workshop, as it was called at the time. Customers and donors entered a “Name the Shop Contest” and Serendipity was chosen. Meaning “the ability of finding valuable things unexpectedly'”, Serendipity has been just that for our agency–bringing us generous volunteers, donors, and support for 50 years!

Stop by the shop at Route 59 and 75th Street on Saturday, November 13 from 10am-5pm as we ring in our 50th year with holiday cheer. Special sales, give-a-ways, and treats to thank our loyal volunteers, donors and customers.
