District 58 Podcast Club Heads To Springfield For Student Advocacy Day

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Members of the Downers Grove Grade School District 58 Podcast Club are heading to Springfield to take part in Student Advocacy Day Thursday. The five students will meet with Rep. Anne Stava-Murray and Sen. John Curran.

The students are:

  • Annabelle Broomhead
  • Jax DiGiacomo
  • Abby Hiller
  • Ryan Hiller
  • Julian Jagai

“My heart is beaming with pride for the incredible opportunity,” Club Sponsor Christine Reynolds said in a statement. “I am so excited to share what we do here, and I am eager to illuminate the hard work happening within our walls."

District 58's podcast club is typically made up of students in third through sixth grade. The students interview people who have made an impact locally, with a guest roster that has included L.A. Rams Guard Dave Edwards, Tivoli Theatre owner Chris Johnson and softball player Estelle Czech.
