DUI, Car Burglaries, Stolen Koi Fish: Police Blotter

Downers Grove police reports, Nov. 6-13.

TUESDAY, NOV. 13

DUI

Michael T. Kalisz, 34, of the 2100 block of Finley Road in Lombard, was arrested around 2:35 a.m. near Interstate 88 and Highland Avenue, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying a traffic control device and failure to signal. He was issued a Dec. 19 court date.

Stolen Koi Fish

Five 18-inch Koi fish were stolen from a pond in the 1900 block of Oxnard Drive between 12:01 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., police said. The fish were worth approximately $500 each.

MONDAY, NOV. 12

Car Burglary on Finley Road

A car was burglarized outside a business in the 3200 block of Finley Road around sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., police said. A purse, wallet, Nintendo 3DS and a PlayStation Portable were stolen.

SATURDAY, NOV. 10

Car Burglary on Winwood Way

A car was burglarized in the 7400 block of Winwood Way sometime between noon on Nov. 9 and 7 a.m. on Nov. 10, police said. An insurance card, iPod Nano and Garmin GPS unit were stolen.

FRIDAY, NOV. 9

Car Burglary on Summit Street

A car was burglarized in the 900 block of Summit Street sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., police said. A wallet containing credit cards, a driver's license and a passport was stolen.

THURSDAY, NOV. 8

DUI

Robert T. Marsh, of the 5100 block of Blodgett in Downers Grove, was arrested around 10:50 a.m. in the 5100 block of Blodgett, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal turning, speeding and no insurance. He was issued a Dec. 12 court date.

TUESDAY, NOV. 6

Car Burglary on Finley Road

A car was burglarized outside a business in the 3200 block of Finley Road around sometime between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., police said. A black bag and computer were stolen.
