Fire Truck Night, Parade Celebrate 100 Years For Westmont FD
The event will feature games, giveaways and a parade of fire trucks with flashing lights in honor of the fire departments 100th anniversary.
WESTMONT, IL — Cass Avenue will light up with a nighttime parade of fire trucks for the 2023 Westmont Cruisin’ Nights Fire Truck Night. The family-friendly festivities will give kids a chance to get a behind-the-scenes peek at how the fire department operates.
Activities include:
- Firehouse tours
- Games
- Giveaways
- Pics with Sparky the Fire Dog
At 9 p.m. fire trucks and other emergency vehicles will engage their lights in a brilliant parade that will make its way north from Burlington Avenue to Naperville Road.

“With 2023 being the Westmont Fire Department’s 100th Anniversary, we are hoping that this year’s event will be bigger than ever,” Westmont Fire Chief Steve Riley said in a statement.
He added, “We invite everyone to come out and see our Fire Trucks and other vehicles up close as we celebrate and appreciate our first responders. We want to thank all of the fire departments and fire protection districts that participate in this event by bringing their vehicles and ladder trucks to this event.”
