Foodie Friday: Parker's Offering Late Night Eats, Drink Friday

If you are looking for some late night diversions Friday, Parker’s Restaurant and Bar will be hosting a special event that will pair jazz and late-night food and libations.

The first-time event is tied in with the Ramsey Lewis concert Friday night, according to the restaurant. Parker’s is offering specially priced drink and dessert pairings until midnight.

Among the offerings will be Chef Pat McLaughlin’s recommended Torte & Port special, as well as other sweet pairings available for $6.

Late-night nibbles will also be available, including selections from the restaurant’s famous, VPN-certified pizza menu.  Additional late night food items include fish and chips, blackened tilapia wontons and crispy fried panko crusted bay scallops, among others.

In addition, live jazz performances from pianist Carmen Stokes will be featured until 10:30 p.m.
