Free Tree Seedlings Available To Celebrate Arbor Day In Downers Grove
The free seedlings can be picked up at two parks in Downers Grove during the month of April.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove Park District will observe Arbor Day by offering free oak tree seedlings to its residents.
The seedlings will be available at two local parks on April 25, with residents free to choose from bur oak, red oak and white swamp oak seedlings.

The event description encourages residents to "[e]mbrace the spirit of community and environmental stewardship by receiving complimentary tree seedlings to plant and nurture for a greener tomorrow."
