It's A Fake

John L. Sacco, 41, of the 4500 block of Black Partridge Lane, Lisle, was cited for unlawful use of a registration sticker and expired registration. Police saw Sacco at 1:24 p.m. travel westbound on the 2500 block of Ogden Avenue and ran his registration. It came back expired and the sticker appeared to be a lighter orange color than normal for a 2013 sticker.

An officer inspected the sticker, which appeared to be computer generated, colored, scanned and laminated. "I then questioned Mr. Sacco if he had any legitimate registration for 2013 for the vehicle," said the officer in the incident report. "Mr. Sacco stated he did not." Sacco was placed into handcuffs, booked and issued the citations. He was later released with a June 24 court date in Downers Grove.
