Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. To Open In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove's newest store will offer hand-poured, plant-based soaps, bath bombs, face and body care items and more. Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. is inching closer to opening its doors at 5129 Main St.

The store features a wide selection of soaps in inventive scents that include Birthday Party, Cereal Killer, Kudzu, Lemon Drop, Oatmeal Milk and Honey, Sundried Cotton and, of course, Magnolia. Seasonal and themed soaps are also available.

Face and body care items include body butter, shower oil, sunless tanner, lip and body scrub and deodorant. Customers can also find products to use in their homes, such as laundry soap, candles and room sprays.

Magnolia Soap & Bath Co. also hosts candle- and soap-pouring parties and classes.

With more than four dozen locations throughout the United States, the Downers Grove store will be the fifth Illinois store for the company. Founded in 2016, Magnolia Bath & Soap Co.'s focus is on offering items made with U.S.-sourced ingredients that are phthalate-free and plant-based.
