The library is highlighting one Bookologist at a time. It’s a new month (and year), so it’s time to meet our next booklover, Bookologist Melissa.
Melissa is the Public Relations Manager who enjoys reading anything new and popular. She’s a sucker for what everyone is talking about. She reads memoirs (mostly by celebrities), lots of humor, and young adult bestsellers. She is constantly on a quest for books with “be kind” messages, that might live up to the amazingly awesome “Wonder” by RJ Palacio.

Melissa enjoys building things, running, vacationing, and doing Random Acts of Kindness. She is usually reading one print book and one eBook at a time, with an audiobook downloaded on her phone for cleaning, long car rides, and very tired eyes. She aims to find a “new favorite quote” in each book she reads.
Some of Bookologist Melissa’s recommendations include “Modern Romance” by Aziz Ansari (“Get the audiobook!”), “Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead” by Sheryl Sandberg, and “The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry” by Gabrielle Zevin (“Absolutely cannot get this one off my mind!”).
A display in the first floor lobby also includes her favorite movies, TV shows, and music CDs. Come take a look.
