New Haunted Fast Passes Liven Up Park District's Halloween Events

Calling all thrill-seekers!

Calling all thrill-seekers: don’t forget the Woodridge Park District’s Haunted Forest Walk next weekend for a healthy dose of Halloween horror.

Hawthorne Hill Woods will be transformed into a series of frightening scenes, the Park District states on their website. Participants who really like a good scare might consider going Friday, Oct. 21 from 6:30-9:30 p.m., while Saturday, Oct. 22’s 1-3 p.m. session might be more appropriate for the faint of heart. There’s also a nighttime session Saturday from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Hayrides will depart from the Community Center and all events are suitable for ages 9 and up, or at parents’ discretion. Evening sessions cost $8 and visitors pay $5 for Saturday’s afternoon session.

Walks, hayrides and haunted houses will be copious all weekend, and this year, for the first time, visitors can buy a Haunted Fast Pass. The pass will allow front-of-the-line access and priority registration for the Woodridge site, as well as two other Park District sites: Westmont Park District’s Haunted Forest Tour and the Downers Grove Park District Suburban Horror Story.

Each pass is $30.
