Noodles & Company Set To Open June 22 In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Downers Grove is set to get its first Noodles & Company location June 22. The national chain serves up inventive pasta dishes, with options for vegetarian and gluten-sensitive diners.

The menu at Noodles & Company offers macaroni and cheese, Asian- and Italian-inspired noodle dishes, zucchini-based pastas, stuffed noodles, salads, soups and other goodies. Standout items include the new cavatappi lemon with parmesan and shrimp, the Japanese pan noodles, the buffalo chicken mac and the roasted garlic cream tortelloni.

The chain also recently introduced a LEANguini option for carb-conscious diners.

“We can hardly wait to open the doors of our 55th location in Illinois and serve the Downers Grove community," Danielle Moore, Noodles & Company Director of Communications, said in a statement to Patch.

Moore added, "With much demand in the area, we look forward to welcoming back guests who’ve dined with us at our other locations and introducing new ones to our menu of globally inspired noodle bowls, our uncommonly good service, and our values-centric culture."

Founded in 1995, Noodles & Company now has more than 450 locations throughout the United States. There are two locations in Naperville, one in Woodridge, one in Wheaton and one in Glen Ellyn.

The Downers Grove Noodles & Company will be located at 1101 Ogden Ave. Its hours of operation will be Sunday through Thursday from 11:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:15 a.m. to 10 p.m.
