Patch Poll: How Long Do You Stick to Your New Year's Resolution?
We start the new year out by wanting to improve our lives. So what happens when the going gets tough?

A new year is upon us. A new year represents a time of new beginning, an opportunity to better ourselves, to make things right.
What can you do? How about volunteering at the local food panty? Or, take an exercise class at the park district? Or use the vast services of the library more often?
Making a new year’s resolution is all well and good, but then you have to carry it out. So this week’s poll asks how long do you stick to your new year’s resolution?

Last week’s poll: Was the Iraq War worth the effort? A total of 86 percent said no, and 13 percent said yes.
John Regals called the war the “stupidest thing this country ever did. For the sake of those killed and wounded I hope I'm wrong, but the odds of Iraq establishing a stable nation friendly to the U.S are slim to none.”
