What would you want Cupid to do for you on Feb. 14?

Sixty-two percent of American adults will celebrate Valentine’s Day, says History.com. According to History.com computations, men spend an average of $150 for this celebration; women spend $74.
So it seems that some thought has to go into the gift-giving aspect of the day.
There are the flowers-and-candy gift-givers, the romantic dinner people and the I-don’t-have-a-clue-what-to-get group.

Well, Super Bowl 2012 is history, but we probably aren’t done talking about the commercials. In about favorite Super Bowl commercials, the 1980 Mean Joe Green Coke ad scored well, with 38 percent of poll voters picking it as their favorite. The 1995 Budweiser Frogs came in second with 21 percent. Third, was Other with 19 percent of voters saying their favorites were not among the 10 memorable Super Bowl commercials chosen by AOL TV (now HUFFPOST TV).

Days before the big game, Harry McCulloch offered this observation to the Patch Poll: “Since the game is between New Jersey and the Bean Town people, why not TiVo the game? Then you could FF thru the game and watch the commercials.”
