Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash In Downers Grove
Police are asking the public's help looking for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a woman on May 9 Thursday.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Police are asking for the public's help finding a driver after a 65-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Downers Grove Thursday.
Officers were called to the 600 block of Ogden Avenue around 9:10 p.m. after the woman was found dead.
Police say a preliminary investigation suggests the woman was crossing the street when she was hit by an SUV that was heading west on Ogden. The SUV, described as a small to mid-size, dark-colored Honda or Acura, was last seen continuing west on Ogden.

The Downers Grove Police Department is working with DuPage County's M.E.R.I.T. to reconstruct the crash during the ongoing investigation.
