Phased Opening Planned For Adventure Falls In Downers Grove
The newest addition to McCullom Park will debut in phases starting in late July.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Adventure Falls will debut this summer at McCullom Park with a phased opening, according to an update from Downers Grove Park District.
The new features include a sprayground, additional sports courts, new seating and other upgrades.
The park's perimeter pathway had reopened as of mid-July, after being resurfaced and widened. Come fall, crews will add lines and graphics to the path to accommodate pedestrians and cyclists.

Eight dedicated pickleball courts and six convertible tennis courts will open at the end of July.
By the end of August, it's anticipated that Adventure Falls will debut its sprayground, which features three different splash play areas. The park's miniature golf course will also reopen during this time, following a rebranding.

Work on the improvements to McCullom Park began in August 2022. Once the new amenities debut, visitors will also be able to access additional seating areas and picnic benches, along with renovated restrooms that have showers.
