PrideFest Planned For June 8 In Downers Grove
Downers Grove residents will celebrate Pride month at Fishel Park on June 8.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — PrideFest 2024 will be held June 8 at Fishel Park in Downers Grove. Presented by EQuality Downers Grove (EQDG), the daytime event will include live music and pride-themed activities.
Residents can don their rainbow attire and take part in a People and Pets Parade and Costume Contest to show their pride. To participate, pets must be on a leash that is at least six feet long.
If you're lacking a colorful piece of flair, you can take part in the event's tie-dye station or get your face painted.

Food and drink will be available for purchase. There will also be a sensory tent for attendees who need to decompress.
Local groups and organizations will be on hand throughout the event to offer information and answer questions.

In the event of rain, PrideFest will be moved to Lincoln Center, 935 Maple Ave., Downers Grove.
