DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A store was burglarized, items were stolen from Best Buy and other crimes were reported on the most recent blotter from the Downers Grove Police Department (DGPD).
Store Burglarized in 1000 Block of Curtiss Street
Police were called to Fair Game, 1015 Curtiss St., Downers Grove, for a report of a burglary around 3 p.m. on March 15. According to the DGPD crime blotter, someone broke a glass door to gain entry to the game store. Once inside, they stole "an unknown quantity" of Magic the Gathering decks and booster packs.

Attempted House Burglary in 1300 Block of 59th Street
A house was burglarized in the 1300 block of 59th Street Sometime between midnight on March 14 and 4 p.m. on March 15. A resident told police they noticed it looked like someone used a pry bar or similar tool to tamper with the weather stripping on the side window of their home.

Items Stolen from Best Buy
A retail theft took place at the Best Buy at 1432 Butterfield Rd. on the afternoon of March 14. Police say the incident was reported on March 15. An employee told them someone had parked in a spot designated for disabled people outside of the store before coming inside and asking about drones. According to police, the individual brought a drone to the cash register, and then ran outside with the drone. The individual got into the car and fled, according to police.
