Summer Nights Classic Car Show Returns to Downtown Downers Grove

The show will run every Friday through Sept. 2

The 24th Annual Summer Nights Classic Car Show kicks off May 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. in Downtown Downers Grove.

The show will run every Friday through Sept. 2 (except June 24).

An array of classic cars will line the streets while hundreds of families enjoy the display. Grab your family and don’t miss out on this wonderful free event.

All classic cars are welcome on Main Street from Maple to Franklin and the featured cars will be on Curtiss Street. Featured cars must be pre-1985, and a trophy will be awarded to the “best” featured car each week.

The season kicks off the featured cars with BOPC (Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Cadillac). With live entertainment by Tim Curran, playing piano hits from the '70s to today. Live entertainment will be at the Main Street Train Station from 7 to 9 p.m.

Shop and dine while enjoying the classic cars. While visiting your favorite boutiques and restaurants make sure you stop in the new businesses in town.

A few of the new ones you may see are: Briosa Boutique, Mia’s Cantina, Francia Bridal and Formalwear, RBK American Grill, RTT Cycle Shop. Boutiques open late on Friday.
