Police say the boy, 17, from Colorado, robbed a woman at gunpoint in Downers Grove in April.

DOWNERS GROVE — A 17-year-old boy from Colorado was charged with armed robbery after a woman was robbed at gunpoint in Downers Grove in April.
Police were called to the 4900 block of Forest Avenue around 8:37 p.m. on April 22 for a reported armed robbery. The teen is accused of being one of four people who surrounded a woman as she walked down the street and pointing a gun at her while shouting, "Money, money, money."
Another of the four individuals tugged the woman's purse, according to a news release from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. The woman gave the group $110 in cash.
