Time to Wake Up!

Well, we turned the clocks back early this morning. Oh no, you forgot? Well, that's OK. It is an hour earlier than you think.

Sixty-five percent of Patch readers who responded to a poll: How will you be spending that extra hour Sunday morning? said they would be sleeping. Other responses were:

• I have about four extra hours to fill Sunday; the Bears don't play the Eagles until Monday night. 15 percent
• More breakfast, 5 percent
• More time to get the family ready for church, 5 percent
• More exercise, 3 percent

Six percent of respondents had other plans. Such as Robert Brundige who said, "All day I will be exclaiming to anyone who will listen: 'Can you believe it's (fill in the time)!' "

Neal Paskvan is every firefighter's dream. He said, "Getting out the ladders and putting some new batteries in my smoke detectors and maybe replace some of the old ones. (Seems like they have some kind of expiration date.) Hardware store, here I come."
