Trash, Tree Pickup Delayed In Downers Grove Due To Storm

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Friday's snowstorm means some Downers Grove residents will see a delay in their trash and holiday tree pickup.

Residents whose trash is usually collected by Republic Services on Fridays will get their items picked up sometime between Monday, Jan. 15, and Wednesday, Jan. 17. Village officials are advising residents to remove their items from the curb until Monday.

Tree collection will take place "when conditions allow," according to an update from the Village of Downers Grove.
