Village of Downers Grove Hosts Final Storm Report Meeting

Final storm report meeting: The village of Downers Grove will host its final open house Thursday to obtain community input on its preliminary 2013 Storm Report. The meeting will be conducted from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Downers Grove Public Works Department, 5101 Walnut Ave.
Facebook basics: The Downers Grove Public Library is hosting a workshop from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday that teaches residents the basics of Facebook, including how to create an account, upload a picture, post a comment and find friends. Classes are open to cardholders only. For more information, visit www.dglibrary.org.
