Windows Busted
An anonymous caller at 1:58 p.m. reported some property damage on the 5100 block of Forest Avenue. Police found two damaged large plate glass windows at the scene. One was completely shattered and the other had a large two-foot hole in it. Another window next to the damaged one was previously broken and boarded up. The owner was contacted about the damage to the windows, which were valued at $1,000 total.
THURSDAY, APRIL 4
Criminal Damage
A man at 1:19 p.m. on this day reported that someone put two roofing nails in the tire of his green 2001 Volvo S60. The incident occurred sometime between 9 p.m. March 30 and 8 a.m. March 31 on the 4700 block of Seeley Avenue. No other property was damaged on the vehicle and no forced entry was attempted.

Bracelets Disappear
A woman at 10:58 a.m. on this day reported the theft of three bracelets while she visited a store March 25 on the 2900 block of Finley Road. The woman took off the three Cloisonne bangle bracelets while in a dressing room and left the store without putting them back on. When she got to her car, she realized they were missing and immediately returned to the dressing room. The bracelets were not there. "Due to the sentimental value of the bracelets, she checked the area pawn shops in an attempt to search for the bracelets with negative results," the report for this incident said. There are no leads or suspects at this time.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3
Cash, Gift Card Missing From Wallet
Someone took about $65 and a $100 Target gift card from a wallet that was found on the 3500 block of Highland Avenue. A woman on April 1 accidentally left her wallet in a locker room, according to a police report. She returned on this day to check if the wallet was returned. When she got it back, she noticed the cash and card were missing.
