Woodridge Police Reports: Burglary, Theft, Obstruction

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through April 22.

A residential burglary was discovered at approximately 7:41 p.m. April 15 in the 8200 block of Middlebury Avenue. Someone entered a home and took miscellaneous items including cash and jewelry.

At approximately 8:11 p.m. April 17, Antonio Hutton, 26 of the 7700 block of Fox Drive in Woodridge, was charged with retail theft after taking a bottle of liquor from Jewel/Osco, 2317 W. 75th St., without paying.

At approximately 11:10 p.m. April 17, Chauncey Nichols-Jones, 18 of the 5300 block of W. Damen in Chicago, was charged with obstructing a village official following the investigation of suspicious subjects in the 2300 block of 63rd Street.

A theft occurred at approximately 9 a.m. April 18 in the 6400 block of Marshall Drive. The US Postal Service left a package on the front stoop of a residence and someone took the package. The contents of the package were valued at $92.

At approximately 3 p.m. April 20, Patricia Sanders, 70 of the 3600 block of N. Panama in Chicago, was charged with retail theft after taking miscellaneous items from Kohl’s, 1001 75th St., without paying.
