Woodridge Police Reports: Theft, Car Burglary, Trespass

The following information is courtesy of the Woodridge Police Department.

At about 8:56 a.m. Sept. 18, Sarah Spiel, 23, of the 800 block of Gamble Road, Lisle, was charged with retail theft after removing three pairs of earrings from Kohls, 1001 75th St., without paying.

At about 3:24 p.m. Sept. 19, Gena Makowski, 45, of the 8200 block of Woodland Drive, Darien, was charged with retail theft and Tim Makowski, 47, of the 8200 block of Woodland Drive, Darien, was charged with battery following the investigation of a disturbance at Kohl’s, 1001 75th Street.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Sept. 20 and 7:15 a.m. Sept. 21 in the 6500 block of Winston Drive. Someone made entry into an unlocked vehicle and removed miscellaneous items.

A criminal trespass to vehicle occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 23 and 6:50 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 3200 block of 83rd Street. Someone made entry into a parked vehicle but did not remove anything.
