Shots Fired: Elgin Police Ask Public For Info
Police ask anybody with information to come forward so they can figure out who fired gunshots on N. Melrose Avenue.
ELGIN, IL — Elgin police are asking the public's help in finding information on a shooting in town Friday night.
The Elgin Police Department said in a Facebook post that on Friday, around 11 p.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the 200 block of N. Melrose Avenue.
Police arrived to find property damaged by gunfire, but no injuries were reported.

Police ask anybody with information on the incident to call them at 847-289-2600 or text 847411 and include ElginPD in the beginning of the narrative to provide an anonymous tip.
