They’re back by popular demand. The Weeping Willow Players from Willow Lake Estates in Elgin will present an old time radio show of Spooky Stories just in time for Halloween. Enjoy the live broadcast fun on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 6:00pm at Club 120 Elgin, located on the lower level of the Atrium at Oak Crest, 204 South State Street in Elgin.

A freshly prepared dinner will be served immediately after the performance. Cost is $45.00 per guest. All proceeds from the event will support the Oak Crest Scholarship Fund, which benefits Oak Crest members who have out-lived their resources.

The “Spooky Stories” radio play will be held in George’s Stage, one of the rooms of Club 120. Club 120 is in the lower level of Oak Crest Residence, 204 S. State St., (Route 31), in Elgin.

Club 120 was created in the 120th year of the non-profit organization Oak Crest Residence Association, founded by George and Mary Lord of Lords Park fame. It was established to empower individuals of all ages and communities through creative expression, lifelong learning, and collective action, while fostering a welcoming environment for all. Club 120 encompasses four distinctive room environments, The Cellar Pub, George’s Stage, The Family Kitchen, and Mary’s Assembly Hall. Rent any one room or all four for business meetings; community get-to gethers; or family celebrations, with or without catered meals.
