​Oak Crest invites the community to attend fresh dining experiences

Enjoying a meal with friends and making new ones is the goal of three dining opportunities at the unique Cellar Pub located in The Atrium at Oak Crest Residence, 204 South State Street, in Elgin. Oak Crest presents weekly Foodie Friday lunches, monthly Second Sunday Suppers and the return of the original popular monthly Third Monday Community Dinner.

“Dining with others in a casual atmosphere is invigorating for the well-being of others and a great way to bring people together for food, fun and conversation,” says Susan Cincinelli, executive director of The Atrium at Oak Crest Residence. “We are proud to offer a special time for our community members to enjoy a meal with others and not to dine alone while serving as a local community backdrop to create and build memories. Our own Chef Marcel will provide a variety of delicious freshly prepared meals.”

Weekly Fridays - The Foodie Friday will begin on Friday, June 6, starting at noon, and will continue to take place every Friday there after. The Foodie Friday includes a Chef’s Choice of two entree choices, dessert, and beverage for $10.00 per person.

Second Sundays - The Second Sunday Supper will take place on the second Sunday of each month starting Sunday, June 8 from 3:00-5:00pm to continue throughout the year. The buffet includes a freshly prepared entree, soup, salad, dessert, and beverage, The inclusive cost is $20.00 per person.

Third Mondays - Back by popular demand is the original monthly Community Dinner to take place every third Monday evening of the month, starting June 16 at 5:00pm and continuing on July 21, August 18, Sept 15, Oct. 20, Nov. 17, and Dec. 15. This freshly prepared Buffet Dinner includes an entree, soup, salad, dessert, and beverage. The all inclusive cost is $15.00 per person.
