School Bus Crash Caused Minor Injuries, Lane Closures: Police

Police said a school bus was involved in a traffic crash Thursday at around 3 p.m. near Route 59 and West Bartlett Road.

BARLETT, IL — All traffic lanes are now reopened after a school bus crash near Route 59 at West Bartlett Road caused lane closures Thursday afternoon, authorities announced.

Parts of northbound Route 59, westbound West Bartlett Road and eastbound West Bartlett Road were closed for about 45 minutes while police investigated.

Police said only minor injuries were reported as of 3:50 p.m. A social media statement said the crash involved a school bus but did not give any further details.
