Adoptable Pet of the Week: Marina!

Marina is a cuddly, easy-going, strong, sweet, and friendly, 4-year-old, 70-pound, female, blue fawn and white American Staffordshire Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. 
 
Marina knows the commands "sit" and "down" and takes treats gently from your fingers. She loves to cuddle with her people, and she’ll hop up on the couch and snuggle up with you. She’s gets along with most other dogs, but her true love is people. She loves to give lots of kisses and tail wags. She has not yet been cat-tested. She loves kids, but would probably be best with older kids who can play ball with her. She loves to play fetch!
 
Marina is great on leashed walks and also good in the car. At the kennel where she is staying, she cuddles up in her blankets and dreams of being in a loving home. Someone cut off her ears to make her look tough, but she’s a bouncy soft, sweet, marshmallow at heart. 
 
Marina is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs. Marina is being kenneled in West Chicago. To meet and possibly temporarily foster or permanently adopt her, contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net
