Shots Fired In Villa Park Neighborhood Deemed Isolated

Police said they will have an increased presence in the area as the investigation continues.

VILLA PARK, IL – Shots were fired this week in a Villa Park neighborhood, authorities said.

The shooting occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday at Third Avenue and Elm Street, Villa Park police said in a news release.

Police said no one was injured, but officers found property damage consistent with the incident. The shooting is considered isolated, with no known threat to the public.
