Animal Cruelty Alleged At Elmhurst House: Cops
The woman had at least three pets at her home, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Officers arrested an Elmhurst woman Tuesday on an animal cruelty charge.
The 76-year-old woman lives in the 100 block of East Fremont Avenue, police said.
Police said they received a report of a dog suffering from neglect.

Two more pets – a dog and a cat – were voluntarily surrendered and taken to DuPage County Animal Control for their well-being, police said.
She was released.
