Coworker Choked At Elmhurst Party, Prompting Investigation: Cops

In another case, an employee at the hospital's complex scratched a coworker's arms, police said.

ELMHURST, IL – Elmhurst police responded to a couple of incidents in which people are accused of attacking coworkers. Here is information from the reports:

  • A woman told police that a coworker choked her about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at a party in the 600 block of West North Avenue. An investigation is pending.
  • A 45-year-old Maywood woman was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Friday on a battery charge. Police said the woman scratched a coworker's arms during an argument at Elmhurst Hospital, 355 E. Brush Hill Road. The woman was released.
