Autopsy Reveals Stab Wound in Deceased Woman Found At Suburban Golf Course
Authorities are operating under the assumption the case is a homicide.
The 37-year-old woman whose body was found toward the entrance of the White Pines Country Club golf course near Bensenville yesterday morning appears to have been stabbed once in the back, according to the DuPage County Coroner’s Office.
The coroner’s office also cleared up rumors that the woman had been beated around the head, stating their autopsy revealed no such injuries.
Police said Thursday the white woman was a victim of a suspected homicide case that originated earlier that morning in the 11500 block of Grand Ave. in unincorporated Cook County.

According to the coroner’s office, the DuPage County Coroner, alongside both the Cook and DuPage County Sheriff Departments, are investigating the case near Bensenville under the assumption of homicide.
