A bike owner who forgot the combination for her lock wrapped the lock around her bike Dec. 10 to make it appear secure on the bike racks on the north side of Bryan Middle School.It didn't work. When she returned to the racks, both the bike and the lock were missing, according to Elmhurst police.The bike is a light blue Schwinn Women's Ranger 26-inch mountain bicycle.Published Dec. 15, 2015.
